Joyce Nadine Scott Joyce Nadine Scott, age 81, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Joyce was born the daughter of Lester H. and Lydia C. (Stout) Mack on January 11, 1934, in Galt, Missouri. She was a graduate of Galt High School, Galt, Missouri. After graduation, she attended Chillicothe Business College. Joyce was united in marriage to Wilford R. Scott on February 25, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1997. She worked as a Bookkeeper in Kansas City and Chillicothe for many years. Joyce was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include two nieces, Mary Whitney and husband Dan of Wichita, Kansas, and Pam Baldwin and husband Mike of Wichita, Kansas; two nephews, Rick Parrott of Wichita, Kansas, and Mike Parrott and wife Rita of Wichita, Kansas; and special friends, Al and Donna Horton and Randy and Lori Horton all of Trenton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilford; and one sister, Thelma Parrott. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
