Joyce Ann Rogers, age 69, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Joyce was born the daughter of Andrew LLoydd and Elizabeth Mildred (Hall) Weaver on July 22, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a 1970 graduate of Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She was united in marriage to Donald Rogers, Sr., on January 1, 1971, in Phoenix, Arizona. He survives at the home. Joyce worked as a fulltime mom. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Joyce enjoyed crafting, quilting, painting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Rogers Sr., of the home; two sons, Donald Rogers II of Chula, Missouri, and Nathan Rogers and wife Beth of West Plains, Missouri; two daughters, Christalynn Rogers of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Hillary Rogers of Chillicothe, Missouri; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Hope Weaver of Phoenix, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Vernon Keith Rogers; five brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 25, 2022, one hour prior to the service at 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be  held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
