Joy E. Dorsey, age 68, a resident of Tina, Missouri, passed away at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, April 23, 2010. He was born on April, 23, 1942 to Howard and Geneva (Coldiron) Dorsey in Carrollton, Missouri. He was married to Betty Ruddy on February 13, 1963 in Bogard Missouri. She survives of the home. Joy worked for Ford Motor Company as an autoworker and retired after thirty-seven years. He lived in the Bogard and Tina area his entire life. Survivors include his wife, Betty of forty-seven years; his mother, Geneva; two daughters; Debra Wheeler and husband, Dana from Norborne, Missouri and Mechelle King and husband, Ronald of Mandeville, Missouri; one brother, Teddy Dorsey of Carrollton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Dara Crowe and Jerry of Tina, Missouri; Devin Ross of Norborne, Missouri, Dustin Wheeler of Norborne, Missouri, Megan King and Emma King of Mandeville, Missouri, and great-grandchildren Jaksyn Crowe and Porter Crowe of Tina, Missouri and Montgomery Ross of Norborne, Missouri. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 26, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Braden Cemetery. There is no family visitation scheduled. Friends may call Lindley Funeral Home on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
