Joseph Ellis

Joseph J. Ellis, age 64, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 11, 2011. He was born on October 29, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Chester W. and Alice M. (Hill) Ellis. He was a 1965 attendant of Wilton Community Schools, Wilton Iowa. Joseph worked as a maintenance supervisor for Priority Properties at Park Center. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking. Survivors include three brothers, Charles "Randy" Ellis of Washington, Gaylord Ellis of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Ed Ellis of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Ellis. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call on Friday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Burial and graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa.
