Joseph Clay Regan

Joseph "Clay" Regan, age 24, a resident of Chula, Missouri, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. Clay was born on November 3, 1986 to JC and Jenny (Thomas) Regan in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 2005 graduate from Chillicothe High School and played as # 74 on the high school football team. He enjoyed his job Lowe's in Chillicothe, Missouri, where he worked for 2 years. Clay was a gentle giant who was loved and will be missed by many. Clay was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clarence B. "Red" Regan, and his maternal grandfather, Ray Thomas. He is survived by his parents; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Regan of Chula, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Judy Thomas of Chula, Missouri; one brother, Matthew Regan of Chula, Missouri; Aunts and Uncles, Julie Thomas of Meadville, Missouri, Steve and Larissa Regan of Chula, Missouri, Don and Christy Regan of Chillicothe, Missouri; four cousins, Kieth and Kyle Long, and Shelby and Stephanie Regan. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call on Monday, February 14, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in the Leopolis Cemetery in Wheeling, Missouri.
