Jolene Anderson Jolene Anderson, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Jolene was born the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Spencer) Miles on December 10, 1931, in Chula, Missouri. She was a 1949 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Edwin Anderson on February 25, 1989 in Mercedes, Texas. He survives of the home. Jolene was an entrepreneur owning the Mart Drug Stores, farms and D & J Wholesale. She was a member of Sorosis, PEO, and Jolly Jane's. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, cross stitching, and knitting, Jolene often taught knitting while working at the Mart Drug Stores. When Jolene retired, she volunteered for numerous organizations and loved to travel. Survivors include husband Edwin Anderson of the home; one brother, Ronald Haas of Chula, Missouri; and one sister Darlene Kilburn of Columbia, Missouri; and several step-children. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 3, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
