John Odire Wilkerson

John Odire Wilkerson John Odire Wilkerson, age 66, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty Missouri. John was born the son of Jack R. and Catherine (Cramer) Wilkerson on August 24, 1947, in Key West, Florida. He was a 1965 graduate of Braymer High School. He was a member of the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Rose Myers on October 12, 1968, in Norborne, Missouri. She survives of the home. He was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri. He was also a member of the Tweedie-Murray American Legion Post #117 of Braymer. John worked as a self-employed farmer all of his life. Survivors include his wife, Rose of the home; one son, Craig Wilkerson and wife Jan of Braymer, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jaxon Wilkerson and Ashlyn Wilkerson both of Braymer, Missouri; and one sister, Jana Wilkerson of Paola, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jackalyn K. Wilkerson. Funeral services will be held at the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
