John Estill White
John Estill White, age 74, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
John was born the son of Jarvis and Grace (Caswell) White on August 7, 1944, in Marceline, Missouri. He was a 1962 graduate of Boys Town High School. John was united in marriage to Nancy M. Midgyett, in Brookfield, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 31, 1998. John worked as part of the maintenance crew for Santa Fe Railway. He loved watching WWE wrestling matches, his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and track. He enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, gardening, growing tomatoes and always kept his lawn immaculate. John was an amazing cook and was young at heart.
Survivors include his four sons, Ricky and Amy Allen of Chillicothe, Missouri, Phillip Golden of Columbia, Missouri, Tony and Krista White of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Tre and Corie Walker of Omaha, Nebraska; three daughters, Cindy White of Lincoln, Nebraska, Shelia Tiger of Kansas City, Missouri, Danielle Ross of Moberly, Missouri; two brothers, Curtis and Roberta White of Brookfield, Missouri, James and Sherri White of Moberly, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Jane White of Brookfield, Missouri, Dana Degnan; a close grandson, Austin, and Chelsea White of Chillicothe, Missouri; abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy M. Midgyett; one son, Joseph White; one daughter, Tina Hudson; one grandson, Adonnis A. White; and three sisters, Nola Robinson, Emma Paige, and Edith Midgyett; and two brothers, Toby Patton, and Jarvis White, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Freedom Baptist Church, Brookfield, Missouri on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, April 1, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, April 1, 2019, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mt.
