John Christopher Pelly John Christopher Pelly, age 54, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in Chillicothe, Missouri. John was born the son of Wallis Ray and Vickie (Foster) Pelly on February 26, 1962, in Somerset, Kentucky. He was a 1980 graduate of Lincoln County High School, Stanford, Kentucky. After graduation, he attended Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Kentucky. He served in the United States Navy. John was united in marriage to Bonnie Maxine Crosser on December 10, 1995, in Cameron, Missouri. She preceded him in death on April 11, 2012. He worked as a Welder for the Railroad for many years. He also worked for the City of Chillicothe Public Works. John was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where he was very active in the church. He was also a member of the NRA. He loved camping, fishing, being outdoors, traveling, and Kentucky Wild Cats Basketball. Survivors include three brothers, David Wayne Pelly of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Robert Merrill Pelly of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Charles Andrew Pelly of Waynesburg, Kentucky; four step children, John Travis Yeomans of Exline, Iowa, Dawn Eilene Adkison of Chillicothe, Missouri, Douglas Andrew Yeomans of Springfield, Missouri, and Roy Austin Yeomans of Chillicothe, Missouri; and six step grandchildren, Austin Yeomans, Colten Ashford, Caleb Ashford, Carli Ashford, Mikah Yeomans, and Elyjah Yeomans. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Bonnie. Cremation was held. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Antioch Cemetery, Casey County, Kentucky.
