John Robert Clarke John Robert Clarke, age 76, a resident of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Milan Healthcare, Milan, Missouri. John was born the son of Robert Leighton and Julia Irma (Kristofik) Clarke on June 23, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Smith on December 30, 1982, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She preceded him in death on April 19, 1994. John worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corp. for many years. He loved being outdoors and taking walks. He enjoyed putting together model airplanes. Survivors include his soulmate, Vickie Butler of Milan, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Anna Marie. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 10, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at May Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
