Joe Ray Perry Joe Ray Perry, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at his residence. Joe was born the son of James McConnell and Hazel Mae (Williams) Perry on December 26, 1930, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Louise Forsythe on May 12, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Joe worked at Boss Glove Factory for 25 years. He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Joe enjoyed working on cars, playing cards, dancing, and listening to country and gospel music. He was always laughing and whistled a lot. Even though he had many trials in life, he always had a positive attitude. Survivors include his wife Evelyn of the home; one son, Bill Perry of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Louise Tate and husband Vince of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Melanie Goad of Chula, Missouri, and Shawn Tate and wife Kayla of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Derrick Tate of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Cole Goad of Chula, Missouri; and two brothers, Paul Perry of Overland Park, Kansas, and Leroy Perry of Duncanville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Wayne Perry. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation and/or the Liberty United Methodist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
