Joan Cecilia Lauhoff Joan Cecilia Lauhoff, age 93, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Saint Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Joan was born the daughter of Terrance and Lena (Carlstead) Cashman November 13, 1924, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Joan lived her whole life in Chillicothe. She was a 1941 graduate of Chillicothe High School. In 1945, she married Paul Lauhoff at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. To this union, five children were born. She worked in foodservice at Indian Hills Retirement Village. Joan enjoyed reading and gardening, but she was most proud of her family and loved to spend time with them all. The Rosary and daily prayers were an integral part of her life. Survivors include their five children, Mary Triplett and husband, Bill, Chillicothe, Missouri, Joyce Lauhoff, Chillicothe, Missouri, Linda Lauhoff, Waco, Texas, David Lauhoff and wife, Janet, Chillicothe, Missouri, Janet Jackson, and husband, Ray, Chillicothe, Missouri; ten grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, an infant child and her sister, Lois Hoyt, Brookfield, Missouri. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Saint Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. A Parish Rosary will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. A family visitation will follow Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Columban's Catholic Church Restoration Fund or St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
