Jimmy Earl Souders
Jimmy Earl Souders, age72, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at his residence.
Jimmy was born the son of Harry "Junior" Souders and Jean Louise (Burkey) Souders on April 25, 1949 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He graduated Chillicothe High School in 1967. Jimmy served his country in the Army after graduation. On December 31, 2007, he married his beloved wife, Linda (Lamp) Souders.
Jimmy worked for Donaldson's Manufacturing Company for 43 years as a forklift driver. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, going to the casinos and rebuilding cars with his Dad.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home, two daughters, Amy Diehl of Sumner, Missouri and Andrea Huff and husband, Jeremy, of Kearney, Missouri; one son, Travis Souders of Pennsylvania; step daughter, Melanie Hoover and husband, David of Bogard, Missouri, step sons Eric Kline of Salem, Alabama and Matt Condron of Chillicothe, Missouri; a brother, Ronald Souders of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and a sister, Shirley Carr of Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Brayden Huff of Rolla, Missouri, Kiefer Huff of Starksville, Mississippi, Clayton Gregory, Bryson Gregory, Codie Austin, Callie Foster, Jesse Coldiron, Dalton Hoover, Abbie Kemble, Rachel Kline, Tanner Condron, Colton Condron, Cortnie Vandiver, and Shelbi Kaullen, nine great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Jean Souders and brother, Gary Souders.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 12:00 noon, one hour prior to service time. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Wednesday, December29, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Rosehill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
