Jerry "Red" F. Tate, age 75, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012, at his residence. Red was born the son of Richard and Bertha Mae (Morris) Tate on April 19, 1936, in Purdin, Missouri. He was a 1954 graduate of Meadville High School. He was united in marriage to Patricia M. Barnett on July 3, 1957, in Laredo, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for 30 years. He was a member of the Good Sam's Club, Masonic Lodge, and attended the Laredo Christian Church. He loved camping with family, gardening, fishing, and reading. Survivors include his wife Patty of the home; three daughters, Judy Lovell and husband Stanley of Laredo, Missouri, Becky Tate of Trenton, Missouri, and Diane Hanes and Terry Wynne of Galt, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jacob Griffin of Buckner, Missouri, Luke Griffin and wife Shanna of Trenton, Missouri, Jamey Griffin of Laredo, Missouri, Whitney Hanes of Springfield, Missouri, and Hunter Hanes of Galt, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Kayley Griffin, Quincy Griffin, Miles Griffin, and Hayden Griffin; one sister Lois Doss of Kearney, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; twelve brothers and sisters. A Memorial service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri, on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wright Memorial Hospice and/or the American Lung Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
