Jerry Mammen

Jerry Ray Mammen, age 70, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Jerry was born the son of John Mammen and Nevis Hall on August 27, 1941, in Grundy County, Missouri. He was a 1959 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was married to Sandra Comerford on July 8, 1962 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. On July 8, 2012 Jerry and Sandra celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Jerry was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and the Chillicothe Croquet Club. He was a board member for the Livingston Co. Public Water District No. 2 and Rich Hill township board. He was a lifelong farmer. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; one son, Terry Mammen and wife Jackie of Chillicothe, Missouri, three daughters; Janet Bonderer and husband Chris of Chillicothe, Missouri, Elizabeth King of Excelsior Springs, and Susan Figg, of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister, Judy Pyrtle and husband Bob of Chillicothe, Missouri; three brothers, John Mammen and wife Bernita, Jack Mammen and wife Charlotte, and Robert Mammen all of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Quentin and Miranda Mammen of Chillicothe, Missouri, Jeralee Wolf and husband David of Columbia, Missouri, Kathleen Adams and Fiance Michael Pina of Prairie Village, Kansas, Lane and Miles Bonderer of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Breana King of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Keenan and Clayton Wolf of Columbia, Missouri; two brother-in-laws, Paul Comerford and wife MaryAnn, of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Phillip Comerford and wife Sarah Edin of Gilman City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carol Lollar. Services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
