Jerry Quinn Head Jerry Quinn Head, age 78, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his residence. Jerry was born the son of Troy Haden and Verdie (Hoskins) Head on October 19, 1934, in Cora, Missouri. He was a 1953 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Jerry was united in marriage to Nancy Jo Keithley on November 2, 1974, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for Midland Brick and Tile Plant in Utica, Missouri, and the Chillicothe Housing Authority. He later retired from Chillicothe Municipal Utilities. Jerry was a member of the Chillicothe Boat Club. He loved fishing, mud racing, and tinkering in his garage. Survivors include his wife Nancy of the home; three sons, Morgan "Alan" Head and wife Amber of Chillicothe, Missouri, Buddy Meyers and wife Becky of Wheeling, Missouri, and Lonnie Head and wife Julie of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Sherry Shockey and husband Mark of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Lynn Huncovsky and husband Lyle of Salina, Kansas; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four sisters, Bonnie Davis of Chillicothe, Missouri, Dixie Seaman and husband Stanley of Chillicothe, Missouri, Rose Danner and husband Gilbert of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Mary Mammen and husband David, Sr. of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Loren Head; three brothers, Gail Head, J.D. Head, and Bill Head; and two sisters, Ramah Stith and Sharin Adams. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, May 19, 2013, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest O' Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
