Jeremy Grant Jeffers Jeremy Grant Jeffers of Liberty, Missouri, went to be with his Saviour in Heaven on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:23 pm. He passed away, in his home, after his 2 1/2 month battle with stage 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. Jeremy was 34 years old. He was born to David Lee Jeffers and Kathy Ann Jeffers, August 9, 1980 in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was raised in Braymer, Missouri with his 7 brothers. Jeremy was known to be quite well behaved and quiet. His interests while growing up consisted of aviation and hunting with his brothers. He could regularly be found building cockpit models out of cardboard boxes or any material he could find. Jeremy had a strong love for education. He had the desire to learn as much information possible about anything and everything. He attended Braymer C-4 high school, and continued his education through Central Missouri State University. Jeremy received his Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology in 2003 and his Master's degree in Aviation Safety in 2005. He worked as an airline pilot with American Airlines for a short stent but soon found a home and work family with Pullman Power/Structural Group. In 2003 Jeremy married his high school sweetheart, Kristen Simons. They started their family with their first son Jaxon Matthew Jeffers in July of 2003. Their second son, Kamren Glenn Lee Jeffers, was born in March of 2005. Nineteen months after Kamren, they welcomed their youngest son Mason Grant Jeffers. As the boys grew Jeremy was actively involved in any way possible. His love for his family was regularly shown through their daily lives. Jeremy loved to take the boys fishing, camping, hunting, and riding around on their ATV. He also enjoyed activities at the house such as wrestling, and building Legos with the boys. His love for Jaxon, Kamren, and Mason was also displayed through his participation in their extra-curricular activities, such as coaching football and being a den leader for Boy Scouts. Beyond his love for his family, Jeremy had a strong love for God. He participated in many church events by offering his singing talents. He loved to sing praises and lead others in doing so as well. He sang in the praise and worship band at the Braymer Christian Church before moving to Liberty. He believed in the power of lyrics to inspire and touch people's lives for the LORD. Jeremy was a very special person who touched many lives. He had a smile that was contagious and could light up the room. He also had a singing voice that could quiet a room. Any time of the day you could hear Jeremy singing while completing any task. He loved to take out his guitar and sing worship songs, and a variety of musical styles with his sons who all love to sing. Jeremy is survived by wife Kristen and three boys Jaxon, Kamren, and Mason Jeffers all of the home in Liberty, Mo. He is also survived by his parents, David Lee Jeffers and wife Pam of Otterville, MO and Kathy Ann Jeffers of Kansas City, MO and grandmother Betty Jeffers of Otterville, MO. He is survived by brothers Timothy, Matthew, Sam, Josh, Justin, Seth, and Luke Jeffers Lastly, he is survived by his nephews and nieces Anthony, Jordan, Morgan, Logan, Hayden, Samantha, Victoria, Daniel, Samuel, Noah, Olivia, Josh, Kylie, Lillian, and Bayler. Funeral services will be held at the Braymer High School, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, April 5, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, April 5, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Fair View Cemetery, Liberty, Missouri.
