Janice Kay Mcelwee

Janice Kay McElwee, age 59, a resident of Holt, Missouri, passed away December 5, 2010, in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She was born January 17, 1951, in Niangua, Missouri, the daughter of Sherman and Dorothy (Garner) Claxton. On May 22, 1975, she was united in marriage to Johnny McElwee in Miami, Oklahoma. Janice is survived by her son Bradley McElwee and wife Sherrie of Lee's Summit, Missouri; sister Judy Jackson of Mexico, Missouri; three grandsons, John Dillon, Belton Bradley, Devin Lawson; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on December 8, 2010 at the church. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer. Burial will be held in Black Oak Cemetery in Braymer.
