Jane Ann Wooden

Jane Ann Wooden, age 78, a resident of Dawn, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Henry and Cecile (Robinson) Ulrich on May 18, 1945. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Wooden, on July 2, 1962. To this union three children were born, Cindy, Shawn, and Shane.

She worked many years as a nurse’s aid and 10 years at Southwest School cafeteria. She loved being a wife, mother, and partner to her husband on the farm. Her motto was “family comes first”.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry of the home; two sons, Shawn Wooden (Dorothy); and Shane Wooden (Jackie); four grandchildren, Ryan Wooden (Isreal), Michelle Sisk (Wayne), Chase Wooden (Abby), and Olivia Wooden; one great grandson, Gabe Sisk; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Dawn Wooden in 1983; parents, Henry and Cecile Ulrich; brother, Robert Ulrich; sister, Virginia Schoeller; parents-in-law, Lloyd and Mildred Wooden; and brother-in-law, Steve Wooden.
