James Sackrey

James Sackrey James Sackrey, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. James was born the son of William and Ida Mae (Frock) Sackrey on January 27, 1960, in Brookfield, Missouri. He was a 1978 graduate of Brookfield High School. He served in the Army National Guard. James was united in marriage to Cindy Sprouse on November 30, 1990, in Linneus, Missouri. He worked as a Firefighter for the Chillicothe Fire Department from 1989 until 2005. He also worked for Caldwell County Ambulance for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Cindy of the home; mother, Ida Mae Sackrey of Laclede, Missouri; three sons, Brad Sackrey of Chillicothe, Missouri, Jason Sackrey and wife Amanda of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Codey Sackrey and wife Barbara of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Kali Holmes of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Tessa Coffman and husband Jeremy of Purdin, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Brad, Jr., and Annabelle Sackrey, Hunter, Katie, Haddlee, and Landon Sackrey, Kennasyn and Jaxsin Johnson, Conner Spainhour and Alex Coffman, and Christian, Bella, Declan, Aidon, and Grasin Sackrey; and three brothers, Bill Sackrey of Brookfield, Missouri, Chuck Sackrey of Olathe, Kansas, and Ed Sackrey of Laclede, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Ginger Sackrey; nephew, Mikey Scott; and grandmother, Helen Frock. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
