James Raymond Ralls

James Raymond Ralls James Raymond Ralls, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015, at his residence. James was born the son of Walter (Bud) and Cleo Maxine (Troeger) Ralls in Chillicothe, Missouri, on July 27, 1946. He was a 1964 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. James was united in marriage to Shirley Ireland on May 27, 1971, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. James worked for Canadian Pacific Railroad as a construction foreman for twenty-six years. He also worked for the Chillicothe Police Department, Chillicothe Fire Department, and Donaldson's Company. James was a member of the Friendship Lodge #89 A.F. & A.M. of Chillicothe and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Division. Survivors include wife Shirley Ralls of the home; two daughters Terri Bennett Dulaney of Dallas, Texas, and Tammy Stith and husband Leslie of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Jeremy Cunningham of Chillicothe, Missouri, Josh Cunningham of Bentonville, Arkansas, Lacey Stith of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Adam Stith of Chillicothe, Missouri; and eight great-grandchildren, Dominic Cunningham, Brooklynn Cunningham, Austin Cunningham, Cameron Cunningham, Haley Stith, Kiara Courtney, Kennady Simmons, and Carter Volker; three brothers Gary Ralls of Chillicothe, Walter "Lefty" Ralls and wife Shirley of Utica, Missouri, and Rick "Sarge" Ralls and wife Mary of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Sherry Berry. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Resthaven Memorial Garden, Chillicothe, Missouri.
