James "Jim" Ray Klein
James "Jim" Ray Klein, age 61, a resident of Laclede, Missouri, passed away February 9, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri.
Jim was born the son of Claude Klein and Arlene (Clark) Klein on May 1, 1960, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He married Cindy Young on July 16, 2016. She preceded him in death on March 19, 2018. Jim drove a truck for a living. He owned Klein Trucking and operated for Alkire Trucking and Ted McGrew Trucking.  He was also a farmer and a heavy equipment operator for the area counties.
Survivors include four daughters, Kristi Hughes and husband, Shawn of Mooresville, Missouri, Roseanne Klein of Copperas Cove, Texas, Lesie Eden of Moberly, Missouri and Christine Chapman of Urbana, Iowa;  two sons, Christopher Reese of Nichols, Georgia and T.J. Lane of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his mother, Arlene Klein,  two brothers, John Klein and Steve Klein and one sister, Linda Martin; nineteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy, his father, Claude Klein, and his sister, Connie Dillon.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.  A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hale Memorial Gardens or the Hale Library and Museum Building Fund and may be mailed to or left at Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601. Online condolences may be left at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com .
