James Dwight Greener James Dwight Greener, age 67, a resident of Cameron, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. James was born the son of Charles R. and Ina R. (Keith) Greener on February 3, 1949, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1967 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He then attended the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri. James then attended the Regis College in Denver, Colorado, graduating with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, and later his Masters of Business Administration. He worked as a Mining Engineer for P & M Coal Company in Denver, Colorado, and Pittsburg, Kansas, for 18 years. He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. James loved working on his home, spending time with family, and estate sales. Survivors include two sons, Jon Greener and fiancé Stephanie Hamilton of Eudora, Kansas, and David Greener and wife Vickie of Gardner, Kansas; companion, Connie Fasching of St. Joseph, Missouri; three grandchildren, Andrew Greener of Eudora, Kansas, Seth Greener of Gardner, Kansas, and Matthew Greener of Gardner, Kansas; three step grandchildren, Shallee Bell of Casper, Wyoming, Augiste Hamilton of Eudora, Kansas, and Isabelle Hamilton of Eudora, Kansas; three brothers, Ronald Greener of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charles Greener and wife Pat of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Gary Greener and wife Sandy of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters, Beverly Childers and husband Mike of Dawn, Missouri, and Joanne Erickson and husband Bill of Lathrop, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Everett Jones; step father, Don Estes; step father, Mervyn Jenkins; and sister-in-law, Toni Greener. Funeral services will be held at the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, one hour prior to the service at 12 noon. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
