James Everett Davis, Jr.
James Everett Davis, Jr., age 53, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2019, at his residence.
James was born the son of James Everett, Sr. and Janey Faye (Constant) Davis on January 17, 1966 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He attended Chillicothe High School. He graduated from Liberty High School with his diploma in 2002. James was united in marriage to Shanell Blades (Hibler) Davis on February 14, 2012 in Gallatin, Missouri. She survives of the home. James worked as a security guard and first responder for Lake Viking Security, Gallatin, Missouri for fourteen years. He was a hard worker, always helping whoever needed him. James had various odd jobs. He worked as a security guard in Henrietta prison. After becoming disabled, he helped family, friends, and neighbors as best as he could. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 224, Hamilton, Missouri. He spent most of his time caring for his sons, which were his world. James was overjoyed in preparing their home for the arrival of their baby girl.
Survivors include his wife, Shanell Davis, of the home; four sons, James Everett Davis III of Hamilton, Missouri, Emery Eli Davis of Hamilton, Missouri, Easton Wayne Davis of Hamilton, Missouri, and Mason Hibler of Hamilton, Missouri; two brothers, Rick and wife Vicki Davis of Hamilton, Missouri, Steve and wife Martha Davis of Carrollton, Missouri; and one sister April and husband James Nauman. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Teanya Davis.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and may left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com .
