James Orvil Crouch James Orvil Crouch, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Missouri. James was born the son of Orvil and Bernice (Gardner) Crouch, on November 19, 1943, in Verona, Missouri. James earned a B.S. in Accounting from Missouri Southern university in Joplin, Missouri, and attended Drury College in Springfield, Missouri. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On August 12, 1988 he was united in marriage to Frances Garr Summerville, in Chillicothe. She survives of the home. James was a self-employed computer programmer and was a member of the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post 25 and the Roy L. Burkett VFW Post 858 both of Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include wife, Frances Crouch of the home; one daughter, Lisa Crouch, of St. Joseph, Missouri; two Step-Daughters, Cindy Johnson, and husband Jim, of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Carrie Pritchett, and husband Pat, of Kansas City, Missouri; one step-son, Wm. Chris Summerville, of Braymer, Missouri; three Brothers, Doug Crouch, and wife Diane, of Marshall, Missouri, Howard Crouch, and wife Jeri, of Duenwig, Missouri, Carl Crouch, and wife Vickie, of Joplin, Missouri; four sisters, Meredith Geraci, and Husband Paul, of Georgetown, Indiana, Gail Vanzant, and husband David, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, Barb Clinkenbeard, and husband Clell, of Marionville, Missouri, and Linda McWhirters and husband Sonny, of Aurora, Missouri. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn Daniel. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
