James Elden Coberley
James Elden Coberley, age 51, a lifelong resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020, at his residence.
James was born the son of Gerald Elden and Betty Jane (Graves) Coberley on January 8, 1969, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1987. He was united in marriage to Leana Grace Dannatt on March 16, 2002, in Chula, Missouri. She survives of the home. He was a farmer and worked at Chula Coop and Clarkson Construction for 10 years. James loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved trapping, camping, gardening, and hunting for mushrooms.
Survivors include his wife Leana, of the home; two sons, Tyler Coberley and wife Renae of Purdin, Missouri, and Brandon Askew of Chula, Missouri; one daughter, Jenna Kincaid and husband Tommy of St. Joseph, Missouri; two grandchildren, Levi and Cade; three sisters, Kim Riddle and companion Tom Jones of Chillicothe, Missouri, Diana Mendenhall and husband Wayne of Mercer, Missouri, and Theresa Wilson and husband Cliff of Hallsville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Steve Graves.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, February 10, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 12 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
