James Spencer Bothwell James Spencer Bothwell, age 63, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. James was born the son of Wells and Jewell Jackson (Ragan) Bothwell on September 15, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1971 graduate of Breckenridge High School. He grew up on the farm and loved to fish. James worked as a Kitchen Assistant for Rafael Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri for 37 years after completing a program through the Sheltered Workshop in St. Joseph, Missouri. Survivors include one brother, Barrie Bothwell and wife Julie of Breckenridge, Missouri; two sisters, Barb Connor and husband Dan of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Carol Herrick of St. Louis, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Peggy Bothwell. Graveside services will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
