James F. Bannan

James Francis Bannan, Jr., age 83, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away at his residence, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. He was born on March 1, 1927, the son of James Francis and Mary Emory (Stevens) Bannan in Aullville, Missouri. He was a 1945 graduate of Hale High School. On July 10, 1946, he married Beatrice Irene Figg in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He was a farmer in the Hale area all his life. He was a member of the Hale Baptist Church and he was a former Hale School Board Member. He is also survived by two daughters Sherry Printz of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Jayme Caughron and husband Lee, of Hale, Missouri; one brother Dale Bannan of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jeremy Gilpin and wife Ellie of Warrensburg, Missouri, Jessica Bradfield and husband Derek of Warrensburg, Missouri and Jacob Caughron of Hale, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Kelli, Haden and Kennisen Gilpin and Camden Bradfield all of Warrensburg, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son James Francis Bannan, III. Services will be at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 8:00 a.m. and until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hale Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
