Jacqueline Ruth "Jackie" Hoerr (née Richardson), 75, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at St. Lukes Medical Center North in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jackie was born on May 15, 1949, in Rochester, New York. She was one of 10 children to Jack and Geraldine Richardson. Throughout her life, she demonstrated a deep passion for animals and an unwavering dedication to her family and career. Jackie and her husband, John Hoerr, owned and operated Reznor Waste Oil Heaters and The Farm Shop in Hale, Missouri, where they worked side by side for many years.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Jackie had a remarkable talent for working with horses in her younger years and was a skilled Assistant Thoroughbred Trainer and an accomplished Quarter Horse Barrel Racer when her children were growing up. Her love for animals extended beyond horses-Jackie always had pets growing up and continued this lifelong devotion by taking in strays whenever possible.
Jackie leaves behind her beloved husband of 42 years, John Hoerr; her children, Sheila Garcia, Gabe Garcia Jr., and Kenny Garcia; seven grandchildren, Erin Motes, Stephen Garcia, Leo Garcia Jr, Anthony Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Danny Garcia, Tyler Garcia; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Evelyn Garcia.
Jackie's kindness, dedication to animals, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
