Jack Lee Thieme Jack Lee Thieme, age 74, a resident of Humphreys, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at his residence. Jack was born the son of Norman and Dorothy (White) Thieme on December 11, 1940, in Chula, Missouri. He was a 1959 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. After graduating high school he attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Donna Mae Triplett on February 17, 1962, in Humphreys, Missouri. She survives of the home. Jack worked in construction for Irvinbilt General Contracting for 42 years, and also worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Chula Presbyterian Church and attended the Mt. Zion Christian Church, Humphreys, Missouri. Jack was a member of the Linn County Soil and Water Board, Missouri Bee Keepers Association, and the Angus Association. He loved fishing and working his black cattle. He enjoyed gardening and giving away his food from the garden. Survivors include wife Donna Thieme of the home; daughter Lori Shiflett and husband James of Meadville, Missouri; two sons Richard "Rich" Thieme and wife Jeannie of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Lin Thieme and wife Ashley of Meadville, Missouri; two brothers John Thieme and wife Pam of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Jim Thieme and wife Stephanie of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister Kay Trevorrow of Anaheim, California; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law Art Trevorrow. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Zion Christian Church, Humphreys, Missouri, on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 22, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Haseville Cemetery, Humphreys, Missouri.
