Jack Vernon Jacobs

Jack V. Jacobs Jack V. Jacobs, age 84, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe, Missouri. Jack was born the son of Clyde "Jackie" and Juliette (Raney) Jacobs on May 9, 1927 in Chula, Missouri. He was a 1945 graduate of Wheeling High School. Jack farmed in the Chula and Wheeling area for many years. Survivors include three sons, Bruce Jacobs of Wheeling, Missouri, Buddy Jacobs of Wheeling, Missouri, and Joey Jacobs and wife Jessica of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tyler, Trent, and Rachael Jacobs; and one sister-in-law Vickie Silkwood of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his second wife Rachael. Graveside services will be held at the Rickett Cemetery, Chula, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
