Jack H. Clevenger, age 73, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010. Jack was born on December 9, 1937 in Black Oak, Missouri, to Owen and Naomi (McCullen) Clevenger. He graduated from Braymer C-4 High School, in the class of 1956. Jack married Colene (Davis) Clevenger on September 15, 1957. Jack served with the U.S. Army, and was honorably discharged in 1963. He retired after 30 years from the Ford Motor Company. Jack was a member of the Black Oak Methodist Church. He served the City of Braymer as councilman for several terms. He was a board member of the Black Oak Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sister, three brothers, and grandson, Jordan Adkison. Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Colene; three daughters Shelly (Rodney) Mayes of Kingston, Missouri; Jackie (David) Adkison of Braymer, Missouri; JoAnna (Daniel) Scott of Smithville, Missouri; one son Robert ( Linda) Clevenger of California, Missouri. He is also survived by three sisters, Lois Cassidy, Juanita Blevins, and Glenn Ellen Hutchinson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
