Jack A. Clay Jack A. Clay, age 72, a resident of Hardin, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 23, 2011. He was born the son of Oliver and Ethel Lola (Johnson) Clark on December 25, 1938 in Richmond, Missouri. He worked for Odessa Missouri Welding and was also a member of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Christian Church of Hardin, and enjoyed collecting gadgets, and stuffed animals, and was a friend with everyone. Survivors include three sons, Victor A. Clay of Kansas City, Missouri, Jackie Oliver Clay of Kansas, and Joren A. Clay of St. Joseph, Missouri; two daughters, Lola Wriedt and husband Alvin of Hardin, Missouri, and Belinda JoAnn Clay of Oregon; one sister Marion Maxine Love of Richmond, Missouri; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jevin Clay; brothers Noah Estes, LaVere Estes, and Jerry Clay; and one sister Francis. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, one hour prior to the service, starting at 12 noon. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home in Braymer, Missouri on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held in the Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Veterans Fund and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
