Iva Williams Iva Williams, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Iva was born the daughter of Walter Williams and Louis Cordelia Allen on May 26, 1926, in Livingston County. She was a 1944 graduate of Avalon High School in Avalon, Missouri. Iva lived in Chillicothe for 67 years and worked as a sewer for Lambert Glove in Chillicothe for 55 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW #858. She is survived by several cousins and was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
