Iris Lelah Batson, age 93, a resident of Goodman, Missouri, passed away in her home on Sunday, September 12, 2021.
Iris was born February 15, 1928 in Chillicothe, Missouri, to the late Jessie (Bench) Dawkins and the late Ray Dawkins of Utica, Missouri.
Iris was married to the late Samual R. Batson. She has one daughter Donna & husband Bobby Matheson of Goodman, Missouri, Eight sons, the late Sammy Jr. Batson, the late Jakie Batson, Marvin and wife Brenda Batson of LaMonte, Missouri, Rex and wife Sandy Batson of Goodman, Missouri, the late David Batson, Richard and wife Christiane Batson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Rocky Batson of Goodman, Missouri, and Kelly Batson of Goodman, Missouri. She was a very loved Granny B to thirty-four grandkids, twenty-nine great grandkids and five great-great grandkids. She has six sisters, four brothers and is loved by many nieces and nephews.
Iris was very strong in her faith as a Jehovah witness for over 50 years.
Iris is very loved and will be missed by many!
