Ina M Merrill

Ina M. Merrill, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She was born the daughter of Charles William and Eureth Pearl (Johnson) Porter on September 30, 1925, in Clark, Missouri. In 1946, she married Paul Kenneth Merrill. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1994. She worked for Midwest Glove in Chillicothe, Missouri, for over forty years. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Morgan and wife Chris of Bosworth, Missouri, Paul Merrill, Jr. and wife Tina of Sweet Springs, Missouri; one sister Mary Sue Ewing of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Pauline Randall, Dorothy Patton and Ruth Richardson, one brother Edward Porter and a great granddaughter Shay Roney. Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call after 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
