Ina R. (Greener) Jenkins, age 96, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Indian Hills Nursing Home in Chillicothe, Missouri. Ina was born in Livingston County, Missouri, on July 11, 1915, the daughter of John Henry and Hannah Elizabeth (Cobb) Keith. On March 10, 1939, she was united in marriage to Charles R. Greener. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1957. Ina worked in the home raising her children and caring for her family as a homemaker. She also served as a dental assistant for Dr. Lee Jackson and ran the Carriage House Restaurant and Estes Coffee Shoppe with husband Don Estes. She was active in the community, delivering Meals on Wheels and volunteering for RSVP. She also served as hospital Auxilary at Hedrick Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of Liberty United Methodist Church and she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, dancing and gardening. Survivors include sons Ronald Greener of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charles Greener and wife Pat of Chillicothe, Missouri, Gary Greener and wife Sandy of Chillicothe, Missouri, James Greener of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughters Beverly Childers and husband Mike of Dawn, Missouri, and Joanne Erickson and husband Bill of Independence, Missouri; sister Jean O'Neil of Independence, Missouri; sisters-in-law Florence Keith of Wellington, Missouri, and Dixie Clark of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Frances, Barbara and Velma; brothers Henry, Fred, Mack and Orland; two infant brothers; husbands Charles Greener, Everett Jones, Don Estes and Mervyn Jenkins; and daughter-in-law Toni Greener. Funeral Services will be held at Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday after 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Welsh Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
