Howard Earl "Corky" Marshall Howard Earl "Corky" Marshall, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Hedrick Medical Center. Howard was born the son of Howard Earl Sr. and Virginia (Asher) Marshall on January 1, 1933 in Liberty Missouri. Howard was a 1951 Graduate of Cameron High School Cameron, Missouri. After high school Howard joined the United States Army and served from 1953 to 1955. He received the Korean War Medal from the Republic of Korea, as well as the Korean War Service medal and was a graduate of the 101st airborne leaders' course of 1953. On Friday, September 30, 1955 Howard was united in marriage to Martha McColloch in Cameron Missouri. Howard worked as a District Sales Manager for Shelter Insurance from 1958 until his retirement in 1995. Howard was a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club, Chairman of Citizens Committee for Better Schools, Chillicothe Booster Club member, Roy L. Burkett V.F.W. Post #858, the Vern R. Glick Post #25 and the square dancing club. He was a member of the First Christian Church since 1968, where he served as an elder and Board Chairman. He is survived by, his wife Martha of the home; two sons, Dennis Marshall of New York, New York and Randy Marshall and wife Tresa of St. Joseph, Missouri. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Kelly Marshall of Oakland, California, Blake Marshall of St. Joseph, Missouri Bryce Marshall of San Francisco, California and Blair Marshall of Savannah, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kenneth. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. A family visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 12 Noon until 6:00 P.M. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery Chillicothe, Missouri.
