Hilah Mae Shira Hilah Mae Shira, age 72, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Life Care Center of Brookfield, Brookfield, Missouri. Hilah was born the daughter of Forrest L. and Doris N. (Stottlemyre) Shira on November 9, 1945, in Trenton, Missouri. She was a 1963 graduate of Trenton High School. She was the owner and operator The Cleaners in Chillicothe, Missouri, and worked in the dry cleaning business for 40 years. She was a member of the Peppy Promenaders of Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include one granddaughter, Shelbi Shira of Chillicothe, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Lilianna and Leia; one sister, Wilma Nadine Shira of Cowgill, Missouri; two nieces, Sharon Anderson of Meadville, Missouri, and Christie Ragle of Cowgill, Missouri; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Shilah Rameriza. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri, on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
