Herbert "LeRoy" Webb Herbert "LeRoy" Webb, age 74, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. LeRoy was born the son of Richard A. Webb and Viola (Shackelford) Webb on May 2, 1943 in Spickard, Missouri. He was a 1961 graduate of Braymer High School. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1967. On September 11, 1964, he married Hildegard "Hilde" Detjen in Saarbrücken, Germany. She survives of the home. LeRoy spent his whole adult life working as a mechanic. He retired from Missouri Department of Transportation. He also enjoyed working on and restoring old cars. Spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids was also a favorite pastime of his. He is survived by his wife, Hilde, of the home; two daughters, Carol Blakely and husband, Ron, of Chillicothe, Missouri and Christine Adkison and husband, Dayrel, of Hamilton, Missouri; one brother, Rick Webb and wife, Carla, of Cowgill, Missouri; three sisters, Nancy Proffitt and husband, Keith, of Camden, Missouri, Caren Gibson and husband, Don, of Braymer, Missouri, and Iola McQueen and husband Calvin, of Grain Valley, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kelly Boyle, Megan Anderson, Shelby Griffin, Ashley Hamilton, Jesse Blakely, and Katie Adkison, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. A scheduled visitation will be held of Friday, January 5, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call on Friday, January 5, 2018, form 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Inurnment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Braymer Christian Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
