Henry D. "Hank" Zimmer Henry D. "Hank" Zimmer, age 80, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Henry was born the son of Daniel Lester and Doris Curtis (Seery) Zimmer on March 12, 1938, in Mystic, Iowa. He was a 1956 graduate of Princeton High School, Princeton, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from 1960 until 1962. Henry worked as a sales representative for Puru-O-Zone in Lawrence, Kansas, for 10 years. He then worked as a meat cutter at Hy-Vee for 10 years in Princeton with his father, and then in Trenton. Henry then worked for Schwan's Company for 14 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, and also previously attended Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Henry loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Missouri Tigers, and Chillicothe Hornets. He loved going out to eat with his family on Saturday mornings at Hy-Vee. Survivors from his marriage to Betty Zimmer include one daughter, Debra Huff of Chillicothe, Missouri; four grandchildren, Desmond Huff of Chillicothe, Missouri, Demetri Brutus of Chillicothe, Missouri, Bobbi Jo Zimmer of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Ed Hyatt of Ludlow, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Emmalynn Stanley and Dantè Huff; one brother, Danny Lee Zimmer and wife Roberta of Princeton, Missouri; one sister, Nellie Ann Noland of St. Joseph, Missouri; and friend, Lucille Bowyer and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bobby Zimmer; infant granddaughter, Desiree Huff; and two infant great grandchildren, Liam and Maxsom. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, next to his son, Bobby, in Chillicothe, Missouri.
