Helen Louise Woods

Helen L. Woods, age 87, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Ray County Memorial Hospital, Richmond, Missouri. Helen was born the daughter of Levi and Bertha (Still) Anderson, on February 22, 1925. She married Orville "Junior" Woods on January 30, 1940, he preceded her in death in April, 1987. Helen loved her family and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and sewing. She is survived by one son, Raymond Woods and wife Carolyn of Braymer, Missouri; one brother, John C. Anderson, of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters, Nancy Ewing, of Wheeling, Missouri, Cara Austain, of Independence, Missouri; three grandchildren, Heather Woods, Juli Ann Woods, and John Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and two sons. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage, Gallatin, Missouri and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
