Helen Louise Shatto Helen Louise Shatto, age 80, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at The Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Helen was born the daughter of Melvin and Fern (Littrell) Wright on July 11, 1936, in Chariton County, Missouri. She was a 1954 graduate of Northwest Mendon High School, Mendon, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Harold Shatto on December 4, 1954 in Triplett, Missouri. He survives of the home. She was a member of the Hale Baptist Church, Hale, Missouri. She was also a member of the Hale PTA, Hurricane Hustler Club, and Order of Eastern Star, where she served as district deputy grand matron for several years. Helen was also a 4H leader and Vacation Bible School leader. Survivors include husband Harold Shatto of the home; one daughter Vicki Price of Chillicothe, Missouri; three sons, Melvin Shatto and wife Vicky of Breckenrdige, Missouri, Ricky Lee Shatto of Hale, Missouri, and Jerry Dale Shatto of Hale, Missouri; two sisters Janet Lightfoot of Hale, Missouri, and Linda Vondrak of Linneus, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Debbi Ann Shatto; and one great-grandson Richard Shatto. Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Monday, August 1, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Hale Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
