Helen Louise Nibarger Helen Nibarger, age 89, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Helen was born the daughter of Lester and Edna (Richeson) Johnson on August 26, 1924, in Avalon, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Virgil Nibarger on November 14, 1940, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1980. Helen worked as a homemaker, farmer, and also was the Administrator for the Virgil Nibarger Construction Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, and the Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary. Helen enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, canning, and baking pies. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. Survivors include one son, Terry Nibarger and wife Julee of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Rosalee Suchsland of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Delores Hall of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister Mildred Hilt of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren, Ben Nibarger of Kansas City, Missouri, Katie Nibarger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Melissa Suchsland of Kansas City, Missouri, Matthew Suchsland of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Monica England and husband Shane of Chillicothe, Missouri; three great grandchildren Emma Suchsland of Tina, Missouri, Helena Rose England of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Alexander England of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Nibarger; sister, Doris Reeves; and brother Allison Johnson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Missouri Baptist Home Benevolent Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
