Helen Nadine McCarty Helen Nadine McCarty, age 95, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Pershing Health Systems, Brookfield, Missouri. Helen was born the daughter of Joseph and Vera (Burchett) Graves on November 6, 1917, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Maurice McCarty in 1933 in Princeton, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1973. Helen was a lifelong resident of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was employed at Lambert Glove Factory for more than 50 years. She was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Helen was devoted to family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed traveling. Helen spread sunshine and smiles to host of friends and loved ones. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Eskew of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Butch Eskew and wife Lillian of Brookfield, Missouri, and Jacalyn Figg and companion Francisco Quintero of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven great grandchildren, David Eskew and wife Jena of Chillicothe, Missouri, Jessica Hatcher of Chillicothe, Missouri, Breanna Vieth and husband Chris of Sedalia, Missouri, Tanya Figg and companion Eric McKinzie of Chillicothe, Missouri, Brian Buckman of Warrensburg, Missouri, Ashley Guyer and husband Andy of Warrensburg, Missouri, Travis Guyer of Linneus, Missouri; eight great-great-grandchildren, Todd Christo, Madyson Eskew, Quinten Eskew, Braden Constant, MaKayla McKinzie, Carson Aguilar-Figg, Elena Quintero-Figg, and Caleb Hearon; one brother, Bill Florence of Clinton, Missouri; four nieces, Eloise Bradley, Willadene Kinneson, Rita Thompson, and Lori Perry and husband Dale; and two nephews, Louis McCarty and wife Alice, and Rick Florence and wife Tammy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice McCarty, one son, Maurice Jr., one sister, Bonnie Jean Wilson, and one niece, Audra Parker. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A parish rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
