Hazel "Roberta" Eads

Roberta Eads, age 97, a resident of Liberty, Missouri, passed away at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley, Missouri on Monday, November 08, 2010. She was born daughter of James and Mary (Ethel) Solomon on September 1, 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Chillicothe High school, Chillicothe, Missouri, in 1931. On November 13, 1938 she married George Harrison Eads. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1981. Roberta worked as a secretary for Joe Lambert at Lambert Glove, and was a homemaker. She moved from Chillicothe in 1970, to Pomme de Terre Lake, Missouri, in 1985 she moved to Liberty, Missouri where she has made her home for the past 25 years. She was a member of 1st Christian Church in Chillicothe, and loved to read. Roberta is survived by two daughters Sherry Wheeler of Liberty, Missouri, Janice Morhrbacher of Columbia, Missouri; one sister Ethel Cundiff of Overland Park, Kansas; two grandchildren Jennifer Riggins of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stephanie Tabet of San Antonio, Texas; two great grandchildren Natalie and Hannah Tabet of San Antonio, Texas. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Betty and Doris; four brothers Keith, Art, Jerry, and Kenneth. There will be a graveside service at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans, Humane Society of Missouri and may be left at funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
