Harold Ralph Heussner, age 85, a resident of Tina, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Harold was born November 9, 1939, in Lemont, Illinois to Ralph and Myrtle (Maas) Heussner. He was a 1957 graduate of Lemont High School, Lemont, Illinois. Harold enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1962. He was united in marriage to Sharon “Skip” Wilkison on April 26, 1968, in Elburn, Illinois. She survives of the home.
He was a respected self-employed farmer who contributed greatly to the community through his hard work and perseverance. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He loved people and had a great sense of humor.
Harold is survived by his wife, Skip; three sons, Steven Nier and Jessica of Tina, Missouri, Brett Heussner and Cherie of Tina, Missouri, and Scott Heussner and Traci of Braymer, Missouri. Harold also leaves a legacy through his seven grandchildren, Drew Nier (Courtney), Katie Baker (Corey), Alex Heussner, Cortnie Vandiver (Caleb), Shelbi Kaullen (Josh), Hunter Heussner and Tucker Heussner; and 5 great-grandchildren, Lieryn Baker, Brooks Baker, Chase Kaullen, Walker Kaullen, and Collyns Vandiver. His family extended to his brother, Ed Heussner and Betty of Brookfield, Missouri: his sisters-in-law, Dee Heussner of Hale, Missouri, Sandee Heussner of Florida, Jean Heussner of Hale, Missouri, and Nancy Wilkison of Elburn, Illinois; as well as special family the Woodworth’s.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Myrtle Heussner; one grandson, Blane Heussner; three brothers, Russell Heussner, Donald Heussner and Raymond Heussner; and a sister, Helen Jefferies.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm.
