Goldie Colene Stratton

Goldie Colene Stratton, age 80, a resident of Braymer, Missouri passed away at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri on Monday, February 22, 2010. She was born in Breckenridge, Missouri on February 1, 1930 the daughter of Charles and Luella (Cashatt) Peirce. On September 14, 1946 she married Roy Stratton. He preceded her in death in 2000. Colene was employed by Hedrick Medical Center in Chilicothe, Missouri as a nurse for many years. Survivors include one son, Jim Stratton and wife Laurie of Arizona; two daughters, Linda Baker and husband Roger of Holt, Missouri, Carol Copple and husband Mike of Braymer, Missouri; two brothers, Charles Peirce of Ludlow, Missouri, John Peirce; two sisters, Arlene Coshow and Mary Climer both of Casper, Wyoming; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. There are no scheduled services at this time. Burial will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to HMC Hospice and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri.
