Glenn Lee Ashlock Glenn Lee Ashlock, age 85, a resident of Marshall, Missouri, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Fitzgibbon Hospital, Marshall, Missouri. Glenn was born the son of Charles Frederick and Lora Belle (McGee) Ashlock on January 21, 1930, in Mondamin, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy from 1949 until 1950. He married Delores Tibergen. To this union one son was born. He married Karen Sue Maples on September 24, 1965. She preceded him in death on September 28, 1994. He married Shirley Humphreys on April 8, 1995, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Glenn enjoyed his life as a Sand Plant manager working on a bull dozer and searching river sand bars for the right quality sand. He also managed a cattle herd. He loved the outdoors and nature. His hobbies included traveling; he loved the ocean, mountains, auctions, and antiques. He was a faithful friend, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Glenn was a gentle, loving, and kind friend to all. He loved the Lord and I'm sure God is pleased. Survivors include wife Shirley Ashlock of the home; step daughters Kerry Turner of Springfield, Missouri, and Jo Ellen Black of Nelson, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Steven Ashlock, Laura Ashlock, Haley Cotham and husband Bret, Tom Black and wife Lindsey, Micaela Black, Phillip Black, Zachary Turner and wife Mary, Dustin Turner, Alexandria Mikic, and Allison Mikic; four great-grandchildren; five nieces; four nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Eddie Ashlock; brother Cecil Ashlock; and sister Louise Henderson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chillicothe Senior Center, Lifepoint Church, and/or the Arbors of Westport Memory Care Unit of Marshall and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
