Glen R. Nibarger Glen R. Nibarger, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Indian Hills Retirement Village in Chillicothe, Missouri. Glen was born the son of Archie B. and Margaret (Long) Nibarger on February 11, 1936 in N.W. Livingston County. He graduated in 1954 from JC Penney High School in Hamilton, Missouri. On January 28, 1956, he married Peggy Jo Cooper in Hamilton, Missouri. She survives him of the home. Glen lived most of his life in Chillicothe. He was a bulldozer owner/operator for Nibarger Construction for 30 years and spent his later years farming. Glen was a CB radio enthusiast, and enjoyed fishing and hunting coyote, deer, rabbit, quail and mushrooms. Glen and Peggy began RVing in their later years, and served as campground hosts for KOA Campgrounds of America in the state of Texas and at Bennett Springs State Park in Lebanon, Missouri. He was a member of the Highview Baptist Church. Glen is survived by three sons, Jerry Nibarger and wife Diane of Chillicothe, Missouri, Alan Nibarger and wife Beth of Chillicothe, Missouri, Edward Nibarger and wife Dee of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Victoria Posch and husband Mark of Chillicothe, Missouri, Debra A. Howe and husband Wes of Chillicothe, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Leona Wimmer of Chillicothe, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Melvin L Nibarger; sisters Thelma L. Smith, and Jeralene (Jerrie) A. Christison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
